Cast Stone

ALL cast stone fireplace orders must be accompanied by measurement sheet,

Where necessary, we utilize reinforced steel in lintels, mantels, legs, etc. This is to insure structural integrity; however, deflection (bending) may occur, thus creating non-structural hairline cracks.

Hairline cracks as well as chipping, staining, and color variation are some of the characteristics of cast stone. These characteristics provide the unique qualities of cast stone, and it should be noted that variations may occur from piece to piece in the same order. Cast stone is a porous material and stains may occur.

Cast stone products may require on site field cuts for installation.

All of European Attic’s copper products are handmade with soldered joints. Some variations may occur. These unique variations are representative of the “Old World” character European Attic is trying to achieve.

PLEASE NOTE: Copper will stain surfaces such as stone, stucco, brick, painted trim, etc.

Finials and Cupolas are decorative elements meant to enhance the overall appearance of your home. Finials and Cupolas MAY ATTRACT LIGHTNING!
